All is not lost

After realizing that I planted too early, my late May replanting effort seems to be working. The new plants are breaking ground, including beans, zucchini, cucumbers, and melons. The spinach and sunflowers continue to look great, but one of the tomato plants bit the dust, and I am still trying to find a reason for its demise. In the morning the tomato plant was fine, eight hours later--dead. But all in all I am feeling better about the garden.

Mt. Nittany looked great yesterday from the hill above the gardens.
